Monthly Bullet Journal Update

Sorry for the lack of posts recently.  I promise I’m getting back to posting more often, I’ve just been so busy recently.  Anyway, it’s time for another bullet journal update!

For November’s color scheme, I decided to go for warm, darker colors, which is quite different for me.  But, I really like how the cover page turned out.  I found a cute design on Pinterest, which I will leave a link to if I can find it.  I added the colors using my Crayola markers.

So for the monthly layout I kept it similar to last months. If you haven’t read my last bullet journal post, I would recommend that you do. You can see where I got the inspiration for the setup as well as more information on the layouts.

Having the bigger boxes worked well for me and I think I’m going to continue with this spread for awhile.  I have a growth tracker in the bottom left corner which helps me stay motivated and productive. The empty space on the left is for my school assignment deadlines.  It’s nice to have them all in one place.  The only thing I changed with this spread was the heading.  I’m still not a huge fan of it, so it’s probably going to change next month.

I still feel like I could use a few more monthly pages, but I’m not sure what they would be yet.  So for now, I’m sticking with the habit tracker and blog expense tracker. I haven’t been keeping up with the expense tracker as well as I would have liked to, so I need to figure out a system that will work better.  But for now, this works.  As for the habit tracker, I like having the monthly habit tracker better than the weekly one.  It’s so much easier having one page for the whole month.  And I kept up with it well last month.

And finally, the weekly spread.  This is the one thing I NEED to change.  I’ve been getting so bored with this spread, but I’ve yet to come up with a new one.  I have been using to do lists mostly for a “daily spread” and have been scarcely using the weekly one.  My goal for next week is to either find or come up with a mor exciting layout.

So that was my monthly bullet journal update.  I can’t believe I only have this month and next month left to finish.  It’s always so exciting to finish a planner/notebook and have stuck with it for a whole year.  Let me know how your bullet journal has changed.  Talk to you in my next post! xx
